--- Anyone interested, contact Alex about attending or send a request for info to the mailing list about the contest
- To further our swarm computing project, we need some identical test machines to test the concept (identical for one boot image) before we can move onto a fully-contained swarm stack for actual use.
--- The idea of seeing if computers that were in storage could be used as test machines came up and seems to work perfectly.
--- Since Matt is going to the MSUM Student Tech Committee next week, he can propose the idea and answer any questions
- It was decided to make our meetings more CS-/CIS-centric that at the beginning of nearly every meeting (if not all) a club member will talk about a topic to educate, interest, and further expand the knowledge and curiosity of club members. The talk is meant to be between 10 and 20 minutes in total, with Q&A included.
- First talk: Alex, about the Application Layer of the TCP/IP model, on 2008/10/22
- Second talk: Matt, about PHP, on 2008/10/29
