Three of our ACM members and our organization adviser, Michael Haugrud, are headed to the ACM Programming Contest held at the Macalester College in Saint Paul. The contest is held all day Saturday and should be an interesting challenge for all who are going. None of the people going have ever competed in an ACM programming contest before which should add an extra challenge without any mentorship besides Mr. Haugrud.
Best of luck to all who are going. Results will be posted after the contest.
Update: We did not place but we learned quite a bit from attending this contest. MICS later this year and future contests should be much more entertaining and less stressful.
